### 3.7.12. Arithmetic constraint

An arithmetic constraint between two or three variables or an arithmetic constraint involving a sum, a product, or a difference between a maximum and a minimum value. The non binary constraints were introduced within the catalogue since they are required for defining a given global constraint. For instance the $\mathrm{𝚜𝚞𝚖}_\mathrm{𝚌𝚝𝚛}$ constraint is used within the definition of the $\mathrm{𝚌𝚞𝚖𝚞𝚕𝚊𝚝𝚒𝚟𝚎}$ constraint.
