Bio Narendra Jussien

Alumnus of the Institut de Mathématiques Appliquées (’94), Narendra Jussien has got a PhD from Rennes I University (’97) and  an habilitation from Nantes University (’03). He is now a full professor in computer science. Member of the CS department of the école des Mines de Nantes since 1998, he has been appointed head ten years later. He is still teaching there computer science and applied maths. Narendra Jussien’s research topic is constraint programming. He contributed in the field for more than fifteen years introducing the notion of explanation and developing, along with François Laburthe, the open-source constraint solver: choco.
